Who Joshua Nkombe is.
Joshua Nkombe, born in 1977 in Kinshasa, is a Congolese general and author. A former FARDC colonel and adviser to the Chief of General Staff in 2008, he founded National Force in 2022, a citizens' movement that identifies, trains and brings together the skills of Congolese people around the world. He is the author of the four volumes of "Congo, the Trigger of Africa", the first of which, the Master Plan, sets out his project to rebuild the State. He is preparing to run in the 2028 presidential election.

Born Joris Nkombe on 18 March 1977 in Kinshasa, he was trained in France, notably at Saint-Cyr, and served as a colonel in the Congolese national army. He will be a candidate in the 2028 presidential election, backed by National Force.

National Force is a citizens' movement founded in 2022 by Joshua Nkombe. It identifies, trains and unites Congolese skills, at home and in the diaspora: civilians, former officers and former soldiers. Serving military personnel cannot join.

It is a rebuilding of the institutions to limit power at the source. Terms are limited, and no referendum can lift that limit. The State's results are public, and institutions outlive those who lead them. It is summed up in the 12 laws of The Pillars of the Giant.

Processing in Congo what is extracted from Congo: raising local processing of strategic minerals from 10% to 50%. He also proposes paying mining revenue into a DRC 2050 Sovereign Fund and writing into the Constitution a budget rule that no government can get around.
What is his position on the army?
A republican army, guardian of the constitutional order. It never acts on its own initiative. To protect the constitutional order, three institutions must decide together: the Constitutional Court, Parliament and the High Council for Military Oversight. It can never be deployed to keep a government in power against a lawful opposition.
